Köpiba
Blemish No More
Product Description.
Traditionally used in Brazil for healing wounds, today copaiba oil is utilized to improve skin health by reducing the appearance of blemishes, tightening pores, boosting collagen production and maintaining skin moisture balance. Copaiba is rich in phytonutrients known as terpenes and more specifically β-caryophyllene which can play an active role in activating the human body’s key cannabinoid receptors and helping to reduce skin inflammation associated with conditions such as acne, psoriasis, and dermatitis. The health benefits of β-caryophyllene have been thoroughly researched and documented extensively over the years but the benefits begin with the stimulation to activate the endocannabinoid system via specific cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2).
Köpiba® features copaiba oil from the genus Copaifera officinalis and is standardized to β-caryophyllene content. Köpiba® can be incorporated into syrups, soaps, lotions, and other cosmetic products due to its pleasant woody aroma and beneficial properties for skin care. Köpiba® can also be utilized in massage oils to help alleviate pain and soreness. Köpiba® should be a strong candidate for any R&D project targeting skin regeneration, skin inflammation, blemish reduction or any project looking to boost the efficacy of any natural ingredients whose mechanism of action involves the endocannabinoid system.
